Salvage Pit (Speed Mushrooms will aid here but it is very doable without it).Gold Medal is really easy for the following adventures You can use the video guides below for Gold Medal if you need help with it. You will need to get 30 targets for Silver, which is doable with a couple tries. The first 20 targets are always in the same position but you get a bit of randomness after that. Silver Medals – 1 AP, 1 Mastery Point EachĪll of the adventures are easy to get silver medal on except for Shooting Gallery. Get bronze medal or better in the 5 Adventures. Lean Techniques (helps but not required). You will want the following mastery if you want to get silver/gold medals on some of the adventures. All the Adventures are available only during the day cycle and some are locked until you do enough events in the outpost event chain nearby. You get 1 Mastery Point and 1 AP for each adventure you earn Silver Medal and another Mastery Point and AP for each adventure you earn the Gold Medal. They are for the most part easy except for Shooting Gallery. See guide here, they each give 2 AP and 1 Mastery Point. See the section below on Night Time achievements. You need to kill all 5 bosses in the night cycle. You will need to do the achievement for each event chain in the 5 outposts. See this guide here, fairly easy and takes about 10- 15 minutes. Jungle Totem Hunter – 1 AP, 1 Mastery Point Watch for branches and aim for the very shallow pool near the Pact Encampment Waypoint. Once you have the diving goggles, go through the circular thingie and aim for a reddish patch below caused by the smoke signal from the rally point. Jump on the bouncing mushroom to the left of the Wyvern platform and it will take you directly to the location with the Diving Googles. It’s located atop a wrecked airship.Dive Master: Verdant Brink – 1 AP, 1 Mastery pointĮasiest way to reach the dive master location is via the Pact Encampment waypoint when the choppers are up during the night cycle (choppers spawn with 20 mins left in the night cycle). You can wait until night to take a chopper, or you can navigate to it with a Skyscale. This next Mastery is also located in the Canopy. Screenshot by Gamepur Holdfast Hollow Screenshot by Gamepur The Insight is located within the wreckage of the Airship itself, and you’ll have to squeeze through a gap in the outer hull if you want to reach it. It’s pretty hard to get to, but with some stellar Skyscale flying or by using the jumping mushrooms, it is possible to reach. The second Insight is located on the Canopy level. It’s located behind the Waypoint and at the end of the twisted branch. The first Mastery Insight is easy enough to reach. Screenshot by Gamepur Stonetwist Paths Screenshot by Gamepur The Insight is located on a ledge at the top of the cave. There are several enemy mobs here, so be ready for a fight. You can reach it by negotiating the vines on foot or using your Skyscale to fly up. This Mastery Insight is a bit higher up than the normal level. Screenshot by Gamepur Coztic Grounds Screenshot by Gamepur You’ll be able to reach it by running to the back of the platform and then dropping down through one of the gaps. There are a lot of enemies if you run through, so be aware. This Mastery Insight is located under a platform of vines. Screenshot by Gamepur Blighted Depths Screenshot by Gamepur The Mastery Insight is located in a cave and is surrounded by noxious gasses, which, if you want to traverse them, you’ll need the Itzel Poison Lore Mastery to be unlocked. The easiest way to get here is from the Jaka Itzel village. Once you’ve interacted with the Mastery, the easiest option would be to Waypoint back to the Shipwreck Peak Waypoint. The second is located on the lower level, meaning you’ll have to drop quite a distance to reach it. One is easily obtained by either running up the giant vine or with a Skyscale mount. There are two Mastery Insights located here. As you level your Mastery skill, the cost of the points needed to learn that skill increases, meaning you’ll need to collect as many Mastery Insights as possible. It also grants you access to specific new abilities such as Gliding or improved Mount skills. Mastery Points increase your character’s level beyond that of the 80 cap. Unfortunately, in the Verdant Brink map, several layers can be tricky to navigate, and some of the Mastery Points you’ll need to upgrade your Gliding Mastery are hidden in the vines. Your character can use the glowing pillars of light to gain Mastery Points. Mastery Points were introduced to Guild Wars 2 with the Heart of Thorns expansion launch.
